This policy explains what information DuePlanner (the "app," hosted at dueplanner.vercel.app) collects, how it's used, and your choices. DuePlanner is a personal task/homework planner built by Due Studios.
If you use the app without signing in, your tasks and settings are stored only in your browser (localStorage) and are never sent to us.
If you choose to sign in with Google, we collect:
Signing in is optional and only used to sync your data across your own devices.
Your information is used solely to provide the app's functionality: authenticating you, and syncing your tasks and settings across the devices you sign in on. We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
We rely on the following services to run the app. Each processes data on our behalf, under their own privacy policies:
We do not use any advertising networks, and we do not sell or share your data for marketing purposes.
If you sign in, your data is retained until you delete it. We do not currently delete accounts for being inactive; if that changes, this page will say so, and we will email you before an inactive account is removed.
A task you delete goes to Recently deleted (in History), where it stays for 30 days so you can restore it, and is then removed for good. You can also empty Recently deleted yourself at any time.
You can delete your account and all associated data yourself at any time from the app: open Settings, then Danger Zone, then Delete my account & all data. This removes your cloud data (tasks, Recently deleted, settings and your device list) and the data stored on that device. One small record stays behind: a counter of how many tasks the account holds, kept so that the per account task limit can't be reset by deleting and recreating an account. It holds only numbers, nothing you wrote. Error reports (see Sentry above) are kept by Sentry for up to 90 days. You can also request deletion by contacting us at the email below.
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
